Musa (Moses) - The Israelites after Pharaoh's Defeat

Musa (Moses) - The Israelites after Pharaoh's Defeat

The Moses's People Desire an Idol In spite of Pharaoh's death, he left a bad influence on the souls of the children of Israel. It was difficult for the years of oppression and intense humility to pass easily. He had made them accustomed to humbling themselves and submitting to someone other than Allah. He had so suppressed their souls and spoiled their nature that they began to torture Moses out of ignorance and obstinacy.

Dawud (David) - David Becomes a Prophet

Dawud (David) - David Becomes a Prophet

David became the most famous man among the Israelites. However, he was not inveigled by this; he was not a prisoner of fame or leadership but a prisoner of Allah's love.
Therefore, after killing Goliath he went out into the desert in the company of nature, glorifying Almighty Allah and contemplating His favors.
Verily, We made the mountains to glorify Our Praises with him (David) in the Ashi (i.e. after the mid-day till sunset) and Ishraq (after the sunrise till mid-day). And (so did) the birds assembled: all with him (David) did turn (to Allah i.e. glorified His Praises). We made his kingdom strong and gave him wisdom and so und judgment in speech and decision. Surah 38: 18-20
Creatures such as the plants, birds, beasts, and even the mountains responded to his voice glorifying Allah. Allah had chosen David to be a prophet and revealed the Psalms to him. As He the Almighty said: ... and to David We gave the Psalms. Surah 17: 55

Shia (Isaiah) - Allah Destroys Hezekiah's Enemies

Shia (Isaiah) - Allah Destroys Hezekiah's Enemies

Then Allah sent death upon the army of Sennacherib. In the morning they were all corpses, except Sennacherib and five of his companions, among them Nebuchadnezzar (Bukhtanasar). The king of Israel immediately sent for them, put them in shackles and displayed them in the land for seventy days to spite and insult them. Every day each of them was fed a loaf of barley bread; after seventy days he confined them in prison.
Allah then revealed to Isaiah that the king should send them back to their country so that they might warn their people what would happen to them. When they returned, Sennacherib gathered his people and told them what had happened to them. The priests and magicians said to him: "We told you about their Lord and their prophets, but you did not listen to us. It is a nation which, with their God, nobody can overcome." So, Sennachub was afraid of Allah. He died seven years later.

Musa (Moses) - The Perishing of Pharaoh and His Army

Musa (Moses) - The Perishing of Pharaoh and His Army

Moses is Allowed to Leave Egypt It appeared that Pharaoh would never believe in Moses's message, nor would he stop the torture of the children of Israel. Therefore, Moses prayed to his Lord thus: "Our Lord! You have indeed bestowed on Pharaoh and his chiefs splendor and wealth in the life of this world, our Lord! That they may lead men astray from Your Path. Our Lord! Destroy their wealth, and harden their hearts, so that they will not believe until they see the painful torment."
Allah said: "Verily, the invocation of you both is accepted. So you both keep to the Straight Way (i.e. keep on doing good deeds and preaching Allah's Message with patience), and follow not the path of those who know not (the truth i.e. to believe in the Oneness of Allah, and also to believe in the Reward of Allah: Paradise etc.)." Surah 10: 88-89

Dawud (David) - Daivd is Granted the Language of Animals

Dawud (David) - Daivd is Granted the Language of Animals

David recited his scripture and glorified Allah while the mountains joined him in praise and the birds rallied around him. Almighty Allah directed: Be patient (0 Muhammad) of what they say, and remember Our slave David, endued with power. Verily, he was ever oft-returning in all matters and in repentance (toward Allah.) Surah 38: 17
David's sincerity was not the only factor responsible for the birds and beasts joining with him in glorifying Allah, nor was the sweetness of his voice. It was a miracle from Allah. This was not his only miracle, for Allah also endowed him with the faculty of understanding the languages of birds and animals.

Dawud (David) - Saul Plots to Kill David

Unfortunately, this only increased Saul's fear, so he plotted to kill David. Such is jealousy that not even a daughter's well-being mattered. Michal learned of her father's plan and hurried to warn her husband. David gathered some food and things, mounted his camel, and fled. He found a cave in which he remained hidden for many days.
After a time, David's brothers and some citizens joined forces with him. Saul's position became very weak, for he began to rule with a heavy hand. He ill-treated the learned, tortured the reciters of the Talmud, and terrorized his soldiers. This worsened his position, and his subjects began to turn against him. He decided to go to war against David. Hearing this news, David marched to confront Saul's army.

Story using very bad language

Story using very bad language
Mahmud was a very pious man, but he was not very attractive looking. One day, he was walking along the road, minding his own business, when a lady came up to him, and started calling him names and abusing him. This lady kept saying all kinds of nasty things, and Mahmud just listened to her patiently. Finally, when she was finished calling him names and abusing him, Mahmud just greeted her, smiled, and said
"and a nice day to you," and continued on his way.
Why did Mahmud, the pious man, behave this way?
It is because he knew that everything she said was just a reflection of her own inner self.
If you use bad language, you are just making obvious to everybody how far away you really are from Allah, since your words are in reality a reflection of your own inner self.

Appreciating Allah's Blessings

Appreciating Allah's Blessings

Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Prophet (may the peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "There were three Israelites, a vitiligo stricken man, a bald man, and a blind man. In order to test them, Allah sent an angel to them."

The angel came to the man afflicted with vitiligo and said, "What would you like most?"

He said, "A good complexion and good skin, and riddance of that for which people have considered me unclean."

Then the angel passed his hand over him, and his uncleanness disappeared from him, and he acquired a good complexion.

Now the angel said, "And what would you like most to have?"

He said, "Camels."

So he was given a she-camel in her tenth month of pregnancy. He said,
"May Allah bless it for you."

Then the angel came to the bald man and said, "What would you like most?"

He said, "Nice hair, and riddance of this condition for which people dislike me."

"LET ME EXPLAIN THE problem science has with God."
The atheist professor of philosophy pauses before
his class and then asks
one of his new students to stand.
"You're a Muslim, aren't you, son?"
"Yes, sir."
"So you believe in God?"
"Absolutely."
"Is God good?"
"Sure! God's good."
"Is God all-powerful? Can God do anything?"
"Yes."
"Are you good or evil?"
"The Koran says I'm not always so good."
The professor grins knowingly. "Ahh! THE KORAN!" He
considers for a
moment.
"Here's one for you. Let's say there's a sick person
over here and you can
cure him. You can do it. Would you help them?
"Would you try?"
"Yes sir, I would."
"So you're good...!"
"I wouldn't say that."
"Why not say that? You would help a sick and maimed
person if you
could...
in fact most of us would if we could... but God doesn't.
[No answer.]
"He doesn't, does he? My brother was a Muslim who

The Boy and the King

The Boy and the King

Ṣuhaib (May Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger of Allah (may the peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "There lived a king before you and he had a court magician. As he (the magician) grew old, he said to the king: "I have grown old, so send me a boy in order to teach him magic."

The king sent him a boy to serve the purpose. And on his way (to the magician) the boy met a monk to whom he listened and he liked [his speech].

It then became his habit that on his way to the magician, he would meet the monk and stay with him and when he arrives at the magician [late], the magician used to beat him because of this delay.

He complained about this to the monk who said to him: "When you feel afraid of the magician, say: Members of my family had delayed me. And when you fear your family, say: The magician delayed me."

Muhammad (Muhammad) - Umar Adopts Islam

Muhammad (Muhammad) - Umar Adopts Islam

During this period, 'Umar Ibn Al-Khattab adopted Islam. In him the new faith gained a valuable adherent and an important factor in the future development and propagation ofIslam.
Hitherto he had been a violent opposer of the Prophet and a bitter enemy of Islam. His conversion is said to have been worked by the miraculous effect on his mind of a surah of the Qur'an which his sister was reading in her house, where he had gone with the intention of killing her for adopting Islam. Thus the party of the Prophet had been strengthened by the conversion of his uncle Hamza, a man of great valor and merit; and of Abu Bakr and Umar, both men of great energy and reputation. The Muslims now ventured to perform their devotions in public.

It was during the last week of January when Mahmood and his friends went out camping in the mountains by a lake.

As it was Allah's will, it happened that the friends arrived on an island at the very center of a frozen lake because the car broke down and they could do nothing but stay on the island.

A few days later, the lake showed signs of thawing and the friends hurried across the lake, taking whatever they could with them. Unfortunately, during the same time period, Mahmood was gone to explore and was far away from them at the time they escaped across the island.
When Mahmood came back, he saw most of the stuff gone and no one around. Most of the lake had now melted and Mahmood was trapped.

became known as the
Bani Israil.
For some reason the
Egyptian people did not

A new Firawn became ruler

became slaves to the

One night Firawn had a

told him what he thought the
dream meant. An Israil boy would be born
and he would grow up and cause

This made Firawn very

a horrible plan.
All the boys born to the
Israilites would be
killed at birth.
He thought this would

Imran and his wife had two

Running from The Ṣalaah

Running from The Ṣalaah

A Bedouin prayed behind an ’Imaam who was reciting the verse, "Did We not destroy the first ones?" [The Qur’an: Al-Mursalaat, 77:16] The Bedouin happened to be in the first row, and upon hearing that verse, he moved to a row that was further behind.

The ’Imaam then recited, "Then We will follow them with the later ones." [The Qur’an: Al-Mursalaat, 77:17] The Bedouin then moved to another row.

Next, the ’Imaam recited this verse, "Therefor do We deal with the Mujrimun (polytheists, disbelievers, sinners, criminals, etc.)!!" [The Qur’an: Al-Mursalaat, 77:18] The Bedouin, whose name happened to be Mujrim, ran away from the congregation, saying, "By Allah, I am his target." When some other Bedouins met him, they said, "What is the matter, O Mujrim?" He said, "Indeed, the ’Imaam destroyed the first ones and then the last ones, and he wanted to destroy me as well. By Allah, I do not want to see him after this day."
